Yep, I happen to be a big fan of John. He specializes in writing eBooks and teaching other people how to do it too. He is a very successful Internet Marketer and a magnificent human being.

The best way to build your list(s) from new products is from the following:
Create a leaked chapter.
Simply take a chapter from your eBook and offer it on your sales page. You can see how I’ve done that with 2 of my products, Auction Profit Streams and Auction Traffic Explosion
Create a mini course.
These tend to work best but require more work. Simply create a mini course related to your product that can be delivered at pre-determined times by your autoresponder. Do a video tour.
Show your prospects what they will be receiving if they buy your product by showing them behind the scenes video. This seems to be working well for me at Resale Rights Blueprint
Offer some ’secrets’
This could be a short report, a video or even a simple audio recording or interview.
Share your success stories.
This usually works best on video, if you have had a successful product launch be sure to share your results in your next product. This proves your credibility.
I have had success with all the above methods and they will all work.
